- The debate will be held in two languages, namely English and Hindi.
- Each team shall consist of two speakers: one speaking for the motion and the other against the motion.

The “All India Shri Nandlal Gadiya Memorial Running Trophy” will be provisionally awarded to the institution securing the highest combined performance in both Hindi and English debates.
- To be eligible for the Running Trophy, an institution must participate in both categories (Hindi & English).
- The institution winning the trophy three times consecutively will permanently receive the Prize Money along with the Running Trophy.
- All participants shall be awarded a Certificate of Participation.
- Each participant will be given 5 minutes to speak and 1 minute for interjection.
- The decision of the judges shall be final and binding. No protest or objection regarding the decision or procedure will be entertained.
- The host university will provide free local hospitality to the guest teams from the evening of 26 February 2026 to the evening of 28 February 2026.
- Participants delivering written debates will not be eligible for prizes. However, a small slip containing only key points will be permitted.
- Teams must register online through the link: https://debate.mewaruniversity.org/ or via QR code.
- Participants are advised to make return travel reservations only after 8:00 PM on 28 February 2026.
- All participants must bring both soft copy and hard copy of their debate topic and submit it after the debate for publication in the University Magazine.
- The last date for registration is 20 February 2026.
